LADIES WHO LIFT

Ladies Who Lift was founded six years ago after I noticed a trend in the gym: the weights area was predominantly occupied by men, while women were noticeably absent. 


When I talked to women, their reasons became clear. 


They wanted to lift, but they lacked confidence. They were anxious about making mistakes, injuring themselves, or facing judgment. 


I decided to change that. 


I established Ladies Who Lift to empower women with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage in proper resistance training. This isn't just about cardio or machine workouts; it's about real strength training and hybrid training techniques. 


Our sessions focus on learning how to lift correctly, understanding your body, and feeling empowered to confidently approach the weights section with a clear sense of purpose. 


We emphasize: 


- Proper lifting technique 

- Safe, effective resistance training 

- Building strength and confidence 

- Understanding your body and movement 

- Creating a supportive, judgment-free environment 


My goal is straightforward: to help women feel strong, capable, and confident in the gym. No more anxiety. No more feeling out of place. 


Just strong, educated lifting and women who own their space.

GIRLS & BOYS WHO LIFT

The Girls Who Lift and Boys Who Lift groups are designed especially for 12–15 year olds, a stage of life where both physical and emotional support really matter. This is such a tough age. Bodies are changing, confidence can dip, and mental health can feel fragile. These sessions give young people a safe, positive space to engage in hybrid training, move, learn, and grow. The focus isn’t just on lifting weights; it’s about: Learning how to move well, developing strength safely, building confidence in their bodies, learning a brand-new skill, supporting mental wellbeing, and creating healthy habits early in life. Resistance training at this age helps improve coordination, posture, balance, and overall body awareness, foundations that benefit them for years to come. Why Sessions Are Split: Girls and boys train separately because they develop differently at every age, physically, emotionally, and hormonally. By splitting sessions, I can tailor coaching styles, exercises, and progressions to suit each group properly, creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and able to thrive. Each session is age-appropriate, technique-led, and confidence-building, with a strong emphasis on correct movement, respect for their bodies, and enjoying the process. These groups aren’t about pressure or performance. They’re about helping young people feel strong, capable, and proud of what their bodies can do during one of the most important stages of their lives.

HIIT & LIFT - HYBRID TRAINING

HIIT & Lift combines two essential elements of fitness into one powerful hybrid training session: cardiovascular training + strength training. Because real health isn’t built by choosing one or the other; it comes from doing both. These sessions blend high-intensity intervals (to challenge your heart and lungs) with structured resistance training (to build muscle and strength). The result is a balanced workout that improves fitness, strength, and overall conditioning.
