STRENGTH TRAINING for children

Strength training for children isn’t about lifting heavy weights, it’s about learning how to move well, build confidence, and develop strong foundations for life.


My children’s strength sessions focus on age-appropriate, technique-led movement that supports healthy growth and development. Everything is carefully coached, fully supervised, and tailored to each child’s ability.


These sessions help children:


  • Improve coordination, balance, and posture
     
  • Build basic strength safely
     
  • Learn proper movement patterns
     
  • Develop body awareness
     
  • Gain confidence in their physical abilities
     
  • Support mental wellbeing
     
  • Discover that exercise can be fun
     

We use a mixture of bodyweight exercises, light resistance, games, and functional movements to keep sessions engaging while teaching valuable skills they can carry forward into sport, school, and everyday life.


Just as important as physical development is emotional confidence. Strength training gives children a sense of achievement, helps manage stress, and provides a positive outlet during a time when pressures from school and social life can start to grow.


These sessions aren’t about competition or performance.

They’re about helping children feel strong, capable, and proud of what their bodies can do, building healthy habits that last a lifetime.
