STRENGTH TRAINING THROUGH MENOPAUSE

Strength training becomes even more important for women as we move through perimenopause and menopause.


During this stage of life, our bodies naturally lose muscle and bone density — which can increase the risk of sarcopenia (loss of muscle) and osteoporosis. This doesn’t happen overnight, but without resistance training it does happen steadily.


That’s why lifting weights isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about health, independence, and long-term quality of life.


In Ladies Who Lift, we focus on building strong muscles and strong bones, helping your body stay resilient, powerful, and capable as you age. Resistance training helps to:
